You are here: Home / Who we are / World of Danish Supply Corporation
Our corporation includes Jens Lysholdts Eftf. A/S located in Esbjerg as well as three other branches present in four major Danish ports: Harald Christiansens Eftf. A/S in the Skaw, Sophus E. Johnsen & Co. A/S in Aarhus and Schierbeck Supply Services A/S in Copenhagen and Kalundborg.
We dispose of 8,500 square metres of storage facilities and various cold storage facilities, including 1,500 cubic metres of cold storage. In total, our storage facilities comprise about 7,000 different products covering anything within ship supply.
We provide a wide range of stores and provisions and offer a 24/7/365 service to offshore operations and vessels. This demands a high level of supply chain management from purchasing to delivery at the required location, whether it be the middle of the North Sea, quayside in Denmark, or in a container in England, Germany or Norway for a ship bound for Africa or South America.
Certification and safety
Danish Supply Corporation is subject to a series of standards and safety regulations, and in order for us to comply with requirements, we regularly invest in new equipment.
ISPS certification
Danish Supply Corporation is certified according to ISPS. This means we adhere to the mandatory requirements and recommendations described in the maritime regulations of the UN International Maritime Organisation (IMO) – the so-called ISPS code.
Far-reaching internal inspection programme
Danish Supply Corporation conducts a far-reaching internal inspection programme. All our dry goods and cooled/frozen goods are covered by this programme to ensure that we are in keeping with food safety regulations and other legislation in this field.
We only handle packaged food and meet the highest standards for storing such goods. This ensures the best possible food safety.
